“Luka Ritz” Annual Award
Ministry of Science and Education gave this year’s “Luka Ritz” Award for promoting tolerance and non-violent school to:
Dorotea Horvat, student of the eighth grade of the Elementary School “Kralj Tomislav” from Našice
and
Luka Prce, a fourth-grade student at the Gymnasium “Vukovar “.
Congratulations to the winners who have made the world a better place by promoting tolerance and humane and non-violent behavior.
The purpose of this award is to encourage young people to be actively involved in the fight against violence, sensitize the public, especially the younger population, their parents and teachers to prevent violence, and to promote positive role models and behaviors.
The main idea of this award is to prompt young people to be more actively involved in this issue and direct their creativity and energy towards building a better and more humane society, based on solidarity, mutual understanding, acceptance and trust.
