My skills & high school or college enrollment
Dear all,
a large number of you are currently facing one important milestone – choosing a high school or if you are enrolling in college, which one to choose.
Unfortunately, this important milestone was made even more difficult for our eighth-graders and high school graduates. At the beginning of the year, there was a strike because of which you had to compensate, while classes are currently being held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Even though the current situation is not ideal, life must continue and your college and high-school await your application. Therefore we encourage you to try to identify your skills and become aware of your desires and goals!
Ask yourself these questions, which may help you in your career path ?:
- “What am I like?”
- “What are my characteristics or traits?”
- “What can I do?”,”What am I good at?”
- “What skills have I developed during my life, education, and participating in extracurricular activities and leisure activities?”
- “What are my strengths and talents, and what areas for further development?”
- “What are my interests and desired areas of work?”
- “Which work values do I consider important?”
- “What are my previous experiences (in schooling, practice, volunteering, summer jobs, sports activities, etc.), results, and achievements?”
Good luck to you all!
