The training course ” The keys of Social Circus ” in Belgium

Our employer, social pedagogue has taken part in the 8-day training course which was organized by Association CIK/Circus La Bulle (SLO) in cooperation with Circusplaneet (Ghent) and was held in Kemmel, Belgium. In training 13 countries took part and all the participants had the opportunity to discover how to use circus as a method and a tool for youth work.

Circus activities are appealing and fun for everybody, making it ideal as a tool for educational work with youngsters. At the end of the training, course participants prepared a short circus show which was performed in the local community and led the circus pedagogy workshop for the local community.

The project was funded by the European Union (Erasmus + project).
